“Inhabitants of this locality and other municipalities of Morelos formed the Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierray el Agua (Peoples Front in Defense of the Land and Water) to fight against the combined cycle thermoelectric plant that is being built by the Federal Electricity Commission and a gasduct project that would also include Puebla and Tlaxcala.
Inhabitants of Huexca exposed the fact that neither municipal, state or federeal authorities asked for permission tu build this project that would, with out a doubt, affect their environment, their plantations, their water reserves and even their lives. “
